Fred Soltanshahi

Senior Technologist

Fred Soltanshahi worked as a business application analyst prior to joining Tripos in 1989. Fred has made contributions to a variety of Tripos products as member of the Polymer, SYBYL, NMR and UNITY groups. Fred contributed to novel methods for hi-D visualization/dimensionality reduction and partitioning large dataset. He was part of the team developing optisim signpost selection/partitioning software and PCA/NLM pipeline to reduce large dimensional space. He is currently working in the Informatics Research Center, collaborating with scientists to develop software for defining combinatorial virtual libraries, designing diverse subsets, 2 and 3D searching for similar compounds and analyzing the results.
