Roman Dorfman

Senior Technologist

Roman Dorfman joined Tripos in 1990. His recent accomplishments include development of innovative SAR defining technologies and project leadership in Pharmacophore Identification collaborative project for Bayer HealthCare AG. Bioisostere Database, CATS and Atom Pair Fingerprints, Fuzzy Isosteric Search, Virtual Compounds Generation, Hypothesis Testing, and Guided Scenarios represent technologies developed as a part of this collaboration. Prior to joining the research group, Roman made contributions to a variety of Tripos' technologies including Structural Units Analysis and Rgroup Deconvolution, as well as contributions to SYBYL, ChemEnlighten, and Benchware HTS DataMiner (formerly marketed as SARNavigator).
